Empire Square Live Hosts Kenny Rogers and KC and The Sunshine Band This Weekend!

This weekend the area adjacent to my office once again is
transformed into the beautiful and entertaining 'Empire Square Live' as it plays host to performances by KC and the Sunshine Band on Friday evening and Kenny Rogers on Saturday night.

Sit beneath the twilight sky and a zillion stars as you listen to these legendary live performances.

Today when I was at the office the stage had already arrived and the lighting and sound was being set up. The excitement infiltrated the air as the Royal Lepage staff assisted in helping everything to go smoothly with the set up and preparations.

It's hard to believe that the Empire Square has been hosting live out door events for one year now in conjunction with the Empire Theatre which has been thrilling crowds for three years.

The Empire Square is fully licensed and attending one of these events is sure to be one that will live long in your memory.

Belleville has numerous fine motels, hotels and bed and breakfasts for you to stay at during your visit and once you see all that the area has to offer, you'll want to come back very soon.

Empire Square is set up to accomodate 3600 people and the shows are always packed to the hilt. Belleville is the place to be this weekend !

Jo, I LOVE concerts; KC travelled all through Europe with me and my little tape player many years ago! Such nice memories; I'm just glad I don't have platform shoes anymore to fall off of :)

That would be cool. I love KC, somethimes they make it to Wendover, which is right on the border of Utah and Nevada. It's only a couple of hours away but worth the drive when KC and the band are there.

Hi Kris, KC is playing on Friday Night and Kenny Rogers on Saturday night...should be a great weekend all round......it's a clear blue sky kind of day here this morning....should be an evening of a thousand stars.

Jo, he is! Mickey Jones is his name, former drummer for Bob Dylan, Johnny Rivers and Trini Lopez his last drum stint was w/ Kenny before he went into acting. I'm reading his book now and will blog about it soon!

No, I'm going away tomorrow morning until Sunday so won't be attending....I tend to go to the concerts that are held in the Empire Theatre around Christmas.....they're wonderful. This year's line-up of live events in November and December looks great too !
