We're excited to hear that Planet Fitness is now open in Fishtown in time for those post-holiday fitness goals. One thing that the neighborhood was missing was a gym, and Planet Fitness fills that void with a $19.99 a month membership, with no initiation fee and many other benefits. They also offer an extremely low $10 a month option with a $59 initiation fee.
The list of all that Fishtown has to offer for those interested in buying or renting there continues to grow. Fishtown has everything from yoga studios to a vibrant art scene to stellar coffeehouses and restaurants. And now, a full gym with massage chairs, personal training, and tanning, that's open 24 hours from Monday - Friday and 7am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Planet Fitness took over a vacant plot of land, transforming it into a much-needed business that adds to the neighborhood.
