Saks Fifth Avenue has announced that it will open an OFF 5TH store at Tanger Outlet Center in North Charleston in October.

OFF 5TH offers discount designer clothing and accessories, with savings of 40% to 70% off original and comparable prices, according to the company's website.

The store at Tanger Outlet Center in North Charleston will be the second OFF 5Th in South Carolina. The Mall at Shelter Cove in Hilton Head Island already has a location, though Saks officials said that store is scheduled to move over the summer to a remodeled store.

Saks officials said they'll also open an OFF 5Th in Oklahoma City in August 2011. The two new stores will be 28,000 square feet.

Saks now has 58 OFF 5TH stores in 23 states.

The company announced in May that it was closing its Saks Fifth Avenue store at Majestic Square in downtown Charleston after 15 years of operations. Retailer Forever 21 is scheduled to take its place.
