7 Comments on PETS NOT ALLOWED ! ! ! !
There are two sides to this coin, and I can see both of them.
I couldn't live without Bowtie, but she's a 4-lb cat who doesn't make a sound. She stays indoors, does her business in the box, and keeps my home free of spiders and geckos. Plus she gives me love, love, love, and I hope she outlives me.
Now, there is a dog 5 or 6 houses down the street who howls frequently on a Friday night. We figure his owners go partying and forget to bring him in. I find this unconscionably rude. Their lawn has "doggy marks" and I periodically find presents in my yard as well. I grew up with a dog, Spooky, and I loved him then like I love my cat now. But the space between our houses was huge, and we always brought him in at night.
It's not the pets that make it difficult for others, it's the owners. The rules should be about restrictions of human behavior, not restrictions disallowing pets.
Candy - Absolutely and medical reports prove it is good for older people!!!
Gaylen - The problem is that more and more condo associations are going that way!!!
