This is the last of my holiday photos for this year. The Town Center area of Atlantic/Neptune Beach is a very pedestrian friendly area, with shops and restaurants. I've posed several pictures of the are already this year, but had not gotten a good shot of the strings of lights on the palm trees lining both sides of the street.

How fun a scene. I do not get to see many palm trees in our area and especially ones lit up. I felt renewed enthusiasm this year with what appeared more light decorating in my area. Maybe a sign of improved confidence in the economy and things looking up or some just feeling that a little light celebration would be uplifting. Thanks for sharing ... lovely!
Here in California our palm trees are usually white - but I like the colored lights. It's funny to us when our friends from cold weather areas are amazed at the lit palm trees - but that's my idea of Christmas!
