Buying A Home:- Why Do You Need a Buyer’s Agent?

By
Real Estate Agent with Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty

As your buyer's agent I will be your advocate, your advisor, your negotiator, and your confidante throughout the process...

RAISE YOUR EXPECTATIONS!

Some people think that when they buy a home, they can do it on their own without taking advantage of the services provided by a buyer's agent. But is purchasing on your own the easiest way to buy something? Certainly, if you're buying apples at a supermarket, you don't really need someone to help you with the sale.

But wouldn't it be wonderful, for example, if you could hire a buyer's agent to help you buy a car? Rather than go from dealership to dealership on your own, hunting through online listings, and then negotiating your first car purchase in years with a dealer who sells a dozen cars a day, wouldn't it be so much easier and cheaper if you had someone on your side the whole way? Wouldn't you save time and money if you could hire a buyer's agent to help you buy a car?

Well, isn't it even better to have someone to help you buy a house? A good buyer's agent helps you through every stage of the home-buying process, from identifying the types of homes and communities you'd like to live, through accompanying you when you visit potential purchases, all the way to closing and beyond.

And throughout that process, your buyer agent will stay in constant communication with

You, through phone or email, to make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening

in the market, your home search, and your transaction. Your buyer's agent is your advocate, your advisor, your negotiator, and your confidante throughout the process. And a buyer agent who is also a Realtor is bound by a strict Code of Ethics set out by the National Association of Realtors.

At Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Rand Realty, we take buyer agency seriously, and have a strict service code to make sure you receive the best experience possible. The first document you'll see from your Rand Realty buyer's agent is a Quality Service Guarantee, which is our written commitment that you'll receive the best buyer agent service possible.

Buyers need to understand that the main reason to use an agent is for their protection. They wouldn't go to court without a lawyer, so why buy a house without representation?

Always a buyer's agent, and in some markets you can go one step futher and use an Exclusive Buyers Agent as recommended by HUD, and other experts like Suze Orman, Consumer Reports, Dave Ramsey.  To learn more, go to www.NAEBA.org .  Get an agent on your side.
