As a broker who lists alot of bank owned property i get to see some great houses both in reality and sarcasim. This one unfortanately is in a sarcastic note. This particular house in unusual to find in winter. I though t i would share it with you.

Now isn't that pretty? Not really... it is a dissapointment.... another home that lacked proper preservation.

Oh my.  That's amazing.

I'm subcribing to your blog.  Good to have you as a resource on matters relating to REO inventory.

Scott - WOW, I've seen mold, but I've never seen that much mold before in my life.

I had a buyer with a home that was feared to be in worse shape than this.  After all, the former homeowner lost the house and others due to losing a lawsuit about the mold.  However, after everything was pulled apart, there was actually very little.  You win!

Yikes, I feel like I need to wash my hands now. Banks need to understand that every day that one of their REO properties stays on the market, this could happen when there is no one to take care of the home. And agents can only do so much.
