My Physiognomy, my woeful physiognomy. I've been tilting at windmills since 1973. ‘73 was the year I taught my first class to REALTORS®, "reading and interpreting credit reports." I got heavily involved in 1974. My Physiognomy was simple other REALTORS® would be easer to deal with if they had more and better real estate education. I'd be more effective if I knew more!
George Bailey had demonstrated my feeling regarding home buyers way back in 1939 an idea I've been devoted to since 1970! An ideal best achieved through education, the consumer's education, the REALTOR'S® education, and the banker/lender's education.
Alas real estate education has devolved into memorizing the answers from the licensing exam and meaning less designations, and of course CE's with the least possible content. The consumer's real estate education comes from TV sound bytes written at a third grade level by people with a political agenda and read to us by talking heads who haven't practiced logic since they finally mastered potty training, where they learned to talk.
But, there is hope 2012 can't get her soon enough!
