Managing Real Estate Broker with LoKation Real Estate

Enough is enough- Know when to hang up the license. How do you know when you have had enough, easy answer is if you spent more than you made, you should probably consider making a quick exit, if it has been a while since you have been to a closing table you may want to call it a day. If you have a full time job and do not have time for any real estate clients, it may be time to for you to rethink about selling real estate.

Maybe you weren't meant to be a Realtor, I just finished reading a very timely blog by a managing broker, if you happen to work at this brokerage you should thank your lucky stars that you have a broker that cares enough about you to tell you it is time to move on- http://activerain.com/blogsview/2046169/when-it-s-time-to-send-a-license-back, many brokerages will let you stay on as long as you are compliant with the state and you are forking over your monthly fees.

Have you ever considered becoming a Professional Referral Agent? Maybe you should take a good hard look at this option, first you have spent the time to get licensed, you have a good grasp of what a transaction looks like, you understand the potential income from a closed transaction, and moving on to another profession will open up many real estate opportunities and provide a steady paycheck.

How does becoming a Professional Referral Agent benefit everyone?

  • 1st- it will take many of the "part-timers" out of the equation giving full-time agents the opportunity to work with the clients, this is definitely in the clients best interest.
  • 2nd- it offers an opportunity for the part timers to make a nice referral income at many times the hourly rate of the typical real estate agent, (it takes maybe an hour to refer a transaction and 30-40 hours to complete the transaction, so the referring agent is making 20-40 times that of the agent getting the referral on an hourly basis)
  • 3rd- It creates new business for an agent that is working in the industry full time.
  • 4th- It offers the managing broker both an opportunity to keep the transactions in the office after the agents leave and it offers them the opportunity to provide an Exit Strategy to the agents that are ready to retire or are not producing.

Please consider this an option and to make it easy for everyone we are offering a BETA test to show you how it works-

  • You do not need to be an exiting agent to get these referrals
  • the average agent will refer 2.3 clients, if you knew 10 agents leaving the business that is 23 more transactions for you
  • we are helping both active and inactive agents
  • referral partners drastically reduce marketing costs!

Beta program developed to build referral teams from agents & brokers leaving the industry. Interested? Info below...

We invite you to participate in our beta program (no cost) to work with us in developing personal referral teams from agents leaving the industry - we will work with you and give you a referral tracking account along with coaching, and access to our extensive resources and templates needed to build your own personal referral team.

This program is one year long, and all we ask you to do in return is fill out a quick survey quarterly, so we can track the program from your perspective. John, straight and to the point! I really think if you don't have a team of individuals or Broker that aren't really helping you either, maybe you are in needto make a move. I am able to multi-task, completely ePro agent/ Realtor(R) and communication a plus! My broker is my husband, so my deals are his deals! So, it works when I am flying... I also have a virtual agent, an assistant in-house as well... So, it works! Good Luck in 2011! Much success!

Lauren- Thanks for the comment- much success to you in 2011 as well. I agree, if many of these Part time agents knew they could partner with full time agents it would help everyone.

John ~ sometimes it's hard to say enough is enough.  And that is a good place to get some referrals, from agents leaving the business.  I'll have to check out that site.
