I loved reading my friend Pam's Kodak Moment. Look at those two kids. Pam is a devoted Mom and wife and it shows. She's also a devoted Realtor® and I'm proud to call her a friend and associate.

I spent all 41 years of my life following men around the world, starting in Japan. Yes, I was a Navy brat and now as the wife of a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard I find myself in Bristow, VA just outside of Washington D.C.
Family is everything, I would follow them anywhere.
Some of the best memories of my life are of time spent with family at the beach. As a kid we used to visit my Dad's family at their beach house in Waterford, CT, we visited my Mom's family in Hollywood, FL, spent time in our timeshare on the beaches of Nags Head, NC, and spent many hours at a cabana at the officer's beach on 67th street in Virginia Beach.
After I got married, I continued to follow my husband around the world. We started in Key West, FL (and stayed for 12 years where both of our kids were born), went back to Virginia Beach, then across the ocean to Puerto Rico. Needless to say we have spent a lot of quality time at the beach and on the water. Thank God for dermotologists!
That being said, the picture of my kids at the beach brings back such great memories for me. We were in Carova, NC where we had to drive about 5 miles on the beach to get to the house where we were staying. Horses were everywhere and people were few! My kids were actually putting baby clams by the handful in the bucket. We had never seen anything like it (no clams were harmed in the making of this photo). This photo makes me think of all the times I spent time at the beach with my family growing up, all the times we, as a young family, have had great vacations together, and all the exciting "beach trips" yet to come.
It is getting close to retirement time for my husband. My career in Real Estate is the next phase in our lives which I hope will be a long and successful one. I want to be a big part of making those "beach trips" continue to happen for my family!
The horse was not too thrilled to be mingling with my sister's Catahoola Leopard Dog.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?
