Ok so I am very happy right now. It is raining.

The rain started out i very light drizzle and one would think that we were not going to get any rain today. Then, when I was just out and about I was in a downpour. Which is not really what we need right now.

My wishful thinking is for 3 days of a nice rain and no downpours.

Rainy days are my best days. Here are some examples:

  • It rained on my High School Graduation Day
  • It rained on my College School Graduation Day
  • It rained and rained and rained when I was moving to Florida
  • It rained the first day I put up my new sign in the yard when I went out on my own and not on a team any more.
  • Today I was putting up another sign and it was raining.

I am so happy for this rain in this area. We all need it and I will be still believing for it to stay raining all the time for 3 days. NO DOWNPOURS though.

The gutters are full now and I hope the rivers to the lakes get at least a foot to them.

This is the rain we have been waiting for.

I am in Alabama and we got rain today also in which we was desperatly needing it. We have been in such a drought. I was so glad to see it rain. My fish pond is running over, and my pool is filled up to the top. All the ditches are full. We have been waiting on this rain also.

Susan, that is an interesting point of vue!  Now that I think about it, many good things have happened to me during the rain.

Susan,

We were excited for the rain too - my poor flowers and grass needed every bit of it.  The nice temperatures today were great too.

I love rain, it's refreshing!  Though, I live in Kentucky, and we haven't had rain in a very L-o-n-g time! We could use some rain, even if it's a downpour! :)
