I just got off the phone with one of my friends in Northern Minnesota. He said that since early this morning the snow waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping below zero and the north wind is increasing dramatically. His wife has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and staring blankly. He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in!!!

Went to college up that way...oddly enough at the time, there was some humor to having your eyelashes freeze....now...not soooo much !
I know that kind of cold...frozen nose hair, feeling like your lungs have collapsed, your fingers will fall off INSIDE your gloves...yep, he should let her in pretty soon!
