...when it comes to taking photos.  It's a hobby I've enjoyed off and on over the years.  I've found that a unique perspective will spark an idea.  Look up most of the time and there it is!  My most favorite is capturing the big old Maple tree in the back yard... whether covered with snow and ice or just about to bud in the spring, it's an inspiration.

Debi, I appreciate your use of photos.  Visual content is as important as written content in keeping the reader fascinated.  Good job!

Debi,

Nature is a great model for photography. Only babies are more photogenic.

Sandy - I couldn't have said it better, babies are the most photgenic.  Thanks for stopping by

Debi, your photos are great.  I have a camera that I keep at the office.  I need to carry it around with me.  I have blog ideas in my head that require photos, but I want to take them myself.  Can't do that if I don't have my camera with me.

I find that the more you shoot, the better you get and the more you learn about the camera.  I once went around an old neighborhood in Baltimore and photographed anything that caught my eye.  I was shocked at how nice many of them were.  Now, with digital cameras, you can experiment more.  If you try something new and it doesn't look nice, simply erase it and try something else.  If you like trees, try the macro feature of your camera and take close-up shots of other plants and flowers.  Keep shooting.

Kathy - thanks for stoppin' by and commenting... I've got one camera in the car all the time... it's great to see something and capture it... they usually only happen once!

Max - I got a new camera this year... haven't experimented with the macro settings yet... It's great to take a day and be a tourist!  thanks for commenting
