While in Virginia Beach and with 13" of snow on the ground my husband and I drove (I know th Snow tree at in itself wasn't so smart) past a women in her driveway standing with her jumper cables in the air.

As we watched several cars pass her we slowed to see if we could help, but soon realized the roads were too slick to stop that fast. (the guy behind us got frustrated enough to go around us!)

We did a U-turn at the next street and came back to help the poor woman. We almost got stuck getting into her driveway but were able to navigate it and give her a jump. She was on her way - well, I'm not sure where any of us were going in 13" of snow in Virginia Beach where they don't quite know what to do with 13" of snow...

It was the Holidays afterall. We just couldn't imagine driving right by and not helping! I hope someone will do the same for me or my kids some day! We loved the snow, as you can see from the picture, the trees were beautiful, however we thought going south from Northern Virginia (with 28" of snow last year) we would be safe from the white stuff!
