cute photos. thanks for reminding me. That is why if I am with my kids I turn off my phone, if even for an hour so I can play with them or watch the game!
Nestor&Katerina~ You are SO right it all goes by TOO quickly! I was NEVER one to rush my children I wanted to savor every minute (except some of those teenage moments...LOL) Mine are now 24,21,15,&13. When I look at my youngest one sometimes I have a little panic feeling cause I cant make time stop..... If only I could for just a little while!
Katerina,
That's the reason why my moments with my son and daughter are so precious, because once they're gone, I can never repeat them, so I'd like to have, and I want them to have, as many precious sweet memories as possible.
William- you are so right, treasure your moments with your babes. Those sweet memories will be great but with no regrets!
Melissa- mine are 30,28,26, 24, 21 and 8. Nestor's are 23, 20, 16 and of course our 8 year old. Yes, those teenage moments are ones we can live without sometimes!!!! Especially the girl ones! The boys were SO much easier!
I heard a quote the other day kids spell love T-I-M-E and it is so true and it is important we spend as much time with them as possible. They learn much more from watching and listening to us and what I want from my kids is for them to be kind and loving. The only way they will learn that is by example.
Todd- I know that you are an awesome father and husband to your wife and children. You are a great example too.
Oh Katerina, this is a heartwarming post and it's wonderful for you. I certainly worked way too many hours when my kids were young but i always cherished my moments with them. Like you say you can't go back so take everyday as it comes with your children & make the time...best
Katerina - you have been graced with the chance to do what you didn't take the time to do earlier. Thanks for the wonderful post.
Katerina, I have learned to love these moments with our daughter, knowing soon, she will be gone. She isn't 2 yet, but the time has gone so fast. Over the holidays, I was in a forced shut down mode to help my husband. I finally had to tell myself forget about work, write your thoughts down and go play with Maddie. There will be a day when that play kitchen isn't cool anymore.
the WHOLE reason i entered real estate was to be able to have more control of my schedule... so that I could be there with my family. And I have really pushed that to a limit. Happily.
LOVE IT. Maybe one day when I become a mother I will practice what you practice. :)
I am sure you will be mommy soon:) I just have that feeling! I love your new profile photo! Katerina
What a cutie Tristan is. It's nice that you let him have his hair long, as it looks good on him.
