It appears that we have a ray of hope rising on the horizon with Kristin LeBlanc. I had the opportunity to talk with Kristin last week while I was on a family vacation. We had a great conversation. I appears that Kristin has the right understanding, as well as values to sufficiently understand the issues before us in Campton Hell Hills and to make a real and serious and positive difference. I hope that the voters understand the opportunity before us.
Many of us have been lifelong residents out here. Ever since Campton Hills was created, it's been nothing but a mess. There are lifelong people who would never have moved to Campton had Campton existed prior to owning their home. I feel the same way.
During my meeting with Kristin, it became apparent that she understands the issues. I really look at two different types of politicians. The first politician is one who loves power and control. The second is a politician who wants to truly serve their constituents. I'd put Kristin in that category. My experience in the establishment of Campton as well as the running of Campton is that those in charge now are those who love their position of power and like being called the grand puba.
For me, I feel that most people out here have spent more than $300,000 to buy their home, some $400,000, $500,000 and up. Since Campton has come into existence, more and more restriction have been placed on the homeowner's right to use their property as they see fit. I feel that Campton gets off on legislating usage for it's residents. Again....most wouldn't have bought out here had they known that a big black cloud would form and never leave.
Judge for yourself! Kristin seems like the real deal, but I'm not one to tell you what to do. Even if she weren't of high moral fiber and character, she'd be a huge step up from what exists (in my humble opinion). The fact is that she seems to be all that she holds herself out to be!
