I hope Day 3 of the New Year finds you well! It seems that everyone is getting back into the swing of things! Since the end of November I have seen some of an upswing in the market. Our referrals have been off the charts and our sign calls have seriously picked up. Something I also noticed that may not be so much for the good and that is agents not picking up their phones!! Frustrating! My question is "WHAT GIVES" do you not want your listing sold?
We work in a customer service field. I understand that people need a break and they are probably on a listing appointment..that is great. But please call agents back. That should be one of your top propriety so please keep it in Mind.
I am reading John C Maxwell's book Winning With People. I have to say its a great book! I recommend picking it up or for those of you who have nooks, IPads etc downloading it. One of the topics: SIX WAYS TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!! In our field I guess that would be important
1. Become Genuinely Interested in other People!
2. Smile
3. Remember that's a Persons Name is to Him or Her the Sweetest Most Important Sound!
4. Be a good Listener-Encourage others to Talk about Themselves
5. Talk in Terms of others Person's Interests
6. Make the other Person Feel Important, and do it Sincerely
