HELP!!!!!!  I was writing a some-what long blog and lost Internet connection.  I know AR auto-saves drafts, but how do I retrieve it?

THANKS!!!!!

This has happened to me several times this am on AR, are you sure it is your internet connection and not something with AR?  hmmmm

AR has an indicator that says that a draft of your post is being saved, but it isn't. That was one of the first things I learned when I took the SEO blogging class offered by AR University. Sorry, but your post is gone.

That has happened to me once before Mark and I wasn't happy. Cynthia is right, it doesn't save even though it tells you it is!

I'm glad I ran across this because I wrote an article last night, let it "save" and then was looking forward to finishing today.  Well, I guess I can now count on writing it all over again.

Bryan - I think going forward I will draft the blog in a word doc and then paste it......

Just spoke with my AR mentor, Debbie Gartner! - she suggested when writing long blogs, save it as a draft often.  Great tip - thx Deb!!!  This way you retain all your formatting.

Mark- You are definitely not the first one to learn that even though it says "your post has been saved", it hasn't.  I've learned to write in the "draft" mode and save it every few lines I write.  If you have Firefox you can write your post in Scribfire then copy and paste it into your AR post.  I read somewhere early on at AR that it doesn't work that well writing your post in Word then copying and pasting it here in AR.  I haven't tried it, but why not!  Very sorry your lost your work.

Kathy - thank you for for the tip.  I will definitely look into FireFox.  I actually re-wrote the blog in Word and did have to change the formatting a bit and THEN add the links and pics. From now on, I will write in draft mode.  Thanks again!

Debbie - what can I say, I have learned soooooo much from our conversations.  Mentor is putting it lightly!
