Effective January 1, 2011 all Loan Originators must have an "approved" status on their Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) endorsement. They must also be sponsored by a MLO endorsed mortgage company. Both the originator and company must be authorized to conduct business as indicated by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, http://www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org
