A RI Bank that has Larger than Life Employees

By
Real Estate Agent with RI Real Estate Services ~ 401-529-7849~ RI Waterfront Real Estate

There are small banks in Rhode Island that do have larger than lifeBank RI employees...you know what I mean don't you?  They stand out from all the other bank personnel by what they do for their customers.  It is a pleasure to share one of them with you today.  By the way, I did not hear back from Media Relations at Bank RI, where this banker works, about 'okaying' the small blog snippet I was doing about her...nonetheless it's my blog.  What bank wouldn't want customers to shout it out when they have an employee who stands out and above the others?!

BankerRhode Island is a small state (you know it's the smallest state in the Union!) and the running joke for people living here is everyone knows everyone else or is somehow related to them.  So when Kelly Kavanagh, the assistant manager at Bank RI in North Kingstown, asked me if I ever get the chance to refer someone to her, I said of course I would oblige.  In fact, clients of mine who relocated from Texas (found me on ActiveRain) met Kelly before I could even recommend her to them...oh yes, they talked about me and and each of them got back to me on their conversations!  Just so funny and yes, I am building my brand!

Back to the Banker, Kelly Kavanagh.  I have worked with Kelly (in full transparency) before in a former life at RBS/Citizens Bank when I ran the bank's Branch Quality Assurance program and she was then also working for them in the branch system.  She would always go above and beyond for her customers and it was evident by their accolades.  She moved onto a smaller RI bank by joining Bank RI and she seems to be giving the customers a good dousing of her great customer service and knowledge here also.  She always goes the extra mile to determine what is right for a customer.  I promised her an account at some point and the week before Christmas I made good on that promise.  Follow through in our business of real estate is just as important as it is in banking.

So if you are looking for a banker who will serve your interests well head over to Bank RI and talk with Kelly Kavanagh.  It is one of the best recommendations I can make.

So I'm sorry Bank RI that you took too long to give me the blessing to acknowledge one of your finer employees...the deed is done!  And you are a very lucky bank to have Kelly Kavanagh as one of your people...she was one of my people too at one time!  It is really nice when a RI bank has larger than life employees to share with all the rest of us.

Good morning Ginny. Cool local post...

Believe it or not, RI is the only state in the union that I have not been to...

Ginny....it's a nice feeling to know the people with whom you bank....there are some people who make you feel like you are important to their bank and others who just don't treat you the same.....I love our local bank and each person in that bank acknowledges you by your first name and with a smile....the personal touch always gets mileage.....I wouldn't think of banking anywhere else.

Hi Ginny - Well done! As well as highlighting local business people for the great work they do, these types of posts also underline how small businesses help contribute to a really great sense of community. Thanks for sharing!

Since Media Relations is an upper management position, I suspect they were on vacation for the holidays while the Kellys of the world were working.
