Good advice, Janice! I hope that all of the sellers and agents in Temecula are listening. Your photos show the best reasons why Blah vacant homes should be staged!
Janice, I know what you mean. There is nothing more uninspiring than a vacant home so I always make a point to stage them so the photos look better as well as for showing purposes.
Maureen - Thanks, Girlfriend! I hope they are listening too! I have been happy to help my clients sell over 15 Vacant Homes last year! Nothing BLAH about that! :)
Keith - Smart Man! Good for you! I agree nothing inspiring about vacant homes. It is much easier to sell a staged home then a vacant one. :)
Cute post with an important message Janice!
Karen - Thanks Girlfriend! Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas for the RESA convention!
Janice....you caught my attention with the "blah, blah, blah" ......the best description of a very vacant house. Great staging.... very inspiring and anyone can see and better yet feel the difference! Its what we "do"..... staging makes the difference! Have a great convention in LV!
LOL!!! Wonder if I could give this presentation at an office-LOL!!! You are so funny-love it!!!
Your photos are awesome!! See you soon!
Love your staged photos Janice. There is simply no comparison to looking at the vacant rooms.
Hi Janice - Happy New Year! You made a great point with this cute post. Vacant home pictures ARE boring and definitely don't create a feeling of "must see".
Teri - Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Yup, "Blah" describes vacant homes and in any RE market that is not the way to attract Buyers.
I am soooo excited for the Staging Convention in Vegas! Now that definitely won't be BLAH! :)
Cathy Lee - Thanks! Ha ha I dare you to use the "BLAH BLAH BLAH vacant home presentation" Girlfriend!! Sometimes we need to step out of our comfort zone and wake em' up!! Nothing Blah about that :) Look forward to hanging with you in Vegas...time to "shake & stage" Vegas style ;)
Michele - Thanks! You're right about no comparisons, even I get pleasantly surprised when I am working on my Vacant Home Staging Before & After pictures!
Tessa - Happy New Year to you Girlfriend! I agree, not only are vacant home pictures boring they are a waste of marketing. A lose-lose IMO :(
Janice!! hahaha i love the post so creative and fun!! You got me dancing right now and signing haha :) Also, great job staging the home, so simple and beautiful :)
Laura - Thanks! Glad I got you movin' Girlfriend!! :) That's the energy we want when Home Buyer's walk into homes for sale!!
Janice: Those vacant homes are so Blah, Blah, Blah! :)
Jane - LOL! Glad you got my point!! Don't you love taking clients to staged properties over vacant ones? :)
Janice, what we like about your example is that you used the exact same shots, one vacant, one dressed up. What we have seen many times, is that the examples used where different angles etc. BTW - we are heard because of a plug, Ghettysburg Gerry Michaels gave you!
Al & Peggy - Thank you very much! A wise Mentor and great Pro Home Stager taught me to take pictures from exact locations!
WOW that Ghettysburg Gerry gave me a great plug about my blog title Yikes! Sorry you saw me NAKED! Very cool and much appreciated! Thanks for letting me know. :)
