I bet some folks will be knocking the door down to purchase vacant land specific to their nees.
Vacant land that you can later put a tent on and live there indefinitely??? I am assuming you need to build a house - I remember the days without all the restrictions and permits - days when little beach shakes were common and there were no condos on the beaches (or anyplace else for that matter) - personally, I miss those days!
Ceil - unfortunately there's not enough decent inventory in the low price range
BJ - funny you should say that. I can look out my window across the gulch and I see a temporary Yurt that has been there for years now. Sooner or later they will get a building permit and build a real structure, at least that's what they keep saying. You're like me, I kind of miss the landscape before too much development came to town.
