I used to run hurdles in high school and college. I looked at every hurdle as an opportunity to get ahead not fall behind. Practice got my better at running, but positive thinking got me to the finish line during a race. Have you ever been to a track meet? It's very intimidating when they set up the hurdles, the runners feel the fans in the stands get anxious, because they know someone is going to trip and fall. It's not your legs that get you to the finish line first it's your head.
The same thing applies to short sales. Positive, stay positive, think positive, be positive!
Short sales have changed as banks hire more staff, laws change, different investors so no two short sales are ever alike. Having said that you might not have the current fax number, lender might change a procedure such as using the equator system, or moving the short sale department from one location to another due to growth. In the eyes of the seller (your customer) all this falls on your sholders as a mistake.
Kinds of demotivating when your doing your best and your told no "it's going to take 10 more days."
Slow and steady positive attitude wins the race.
