Richard, I feel that way as well! Yesterday was just such a day in my world. There's no reason to jump up and down and scream about things we cannot control, we just have to deal with it in the best possible way and find a way to make it work!

I totally agree with that - I have never understood the drama queens (or kings) who feel the need to stir the pot and get their clients upset unnecessarily. It's bad business for everyone! You have it right.
Richard, Our life is a bit calmer, no REOs, no tenants, but still, the agents have to be the calming influence, not the lighter fluid!
Richard, I know how hard it is for me when things that are out of my control are spinning wildly out into outer space.... but the key is to at least make them think you are calm, and not let them see you drooling on your sleeve.
I totally agree. I always have thought that the only thing I CAN control is myself, how I conduct my business and my attitude, which always pays off in the long run!
If we can't control ourselves and our business, then there's not much we'll be able to accomplish.
So very true...and when I started to think that way it became a whole lot easier!!! Sometimes I think agents come off so desparate that our clients sense it and that is not a good thing!

Richard, control the things you can in real estate, and let the other stuff go. Sounds like you are well on your way to handling things properly...

Richard - Ditto, ditto.... I accepted it being quieter - even though I was still writing letters, etc..and reaching out... it WAS the holidays... and now ONWARD!!!! It is nice to know that we have control of what will be... Best, Gay
Richard, and these are all reasons that people need to hire a Realtor when buying or selling in this crazy real estate market we are now operting in.
You are right sir there are things that we cannot change BUT we can remain calm under the pressure and be a guiding light for our buyers.
I wonder what people would do if they had to take ownership of their actions all teh time.
