There's Still Time to See A Favorite Holiday Tradition in Blackstone, VA

Many of us have written this year about holiday traditions and have now packed up the decorations to get started with the New Year. But in Blackstone, Virginia there's one hold out on holiday traditions. Bobby Daniel's owner of Bevel's Hardware in Blackstone, VA has created the ulitmate holiday tradition, with his spectacular model train display. His display is amazing to behold and is a delight for all ages...such that people from near and far travel to see this display ever year during the holiday season. However, with the hussle and bussle there's always something we miss at Christmas time....but Mr. Daniel's won't be packing the trains up until Sunday, so if you haven't seen it....there's still time!

This year people are being treated with a surprise because the display has only grown. It's now bigger and better. Some of the animated displays include a carnival, drive-in, an old-town blackstone village, Fort Pickett (a nearby military base), hot air balloons and Disney characters...I'd love to tell you everything that there is to see but really everytime I visit I see something I missed.  But my favorite is watching the delight on the kids faces as the fire truck races to put out the burning houses complete with smoke.

So if you haven't stopped by....head to Blackstone, VA and go to Bevel's Hardware before Sunday and see his amazing wonderland of trains amd fit in one last holiday tradition for your family.
