Winter workouts will be held for all players, ages 4-14, on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. at Mid-Atlantic Sports Academy throughout January and on February 13.  For more information about the winter workouts, you can email workout@croftonbaseball.com.

County tryouts and evaluations will be held at Extra Innings in Upper Marlboro for 10u, 12u, and 14u teams on Saturday 2/12 and 2/19, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  Players in the 10u division will try out and there will be cuts.  Players who are cut will participate in the intramural league.  Players in the 12u and 14u age brackets will be evaluated and placed on a CAC county team, without any cuts.

Intramural evaluations will take place on March 1 and 5, from 6-9 p.m. at the Mid-Atlantic Sports Academy for all ages.  Players should bring a baseball glove and regular tennis shoes (no cleats); all other equipment will be provided.  This will be an evaluation, not a tryout, so no one will be cut.  These evaluations will be used to create balanced teams in each age group.

Attention CAC baseball coaches:

Register for Ripken Baseball Coaches Clinic which will take place on Jan 15 at the University of Maryland.

Register for Coaches Certification Clinic, offered by Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation Department 4 times annually.  Clinic topics include teamwork, respect for authority, winning and losing graciously, self-confidence and discipline, departmental procedures, coaching philosophy, sports psychology, legal matters, health and much more.

  • Lacrosse and soccer registration for Crofton Athletic Council will take place in February.
  • Information regarding girls softball will be posted to FocusOnCrofton.com on 1/7/11.

Eric - Thank you for taking the time to comment!  I visited a lot of different web pages to pull this altogether in one place for Crofton families.

Wow, I can't believe your schedule is already out for Spring ball when snow is on the way. I'm sure parents appreciate you taking the leg work out of getting this information...and to have so far in advance is just an extra plus. Great Post!
