Introducing ActiveRain Orientation!

Blogging means many things to many people. We're all going to find our own answers to the question above, and our job here at ActiveRain is to guide you in your quest to find your answer. For this reason, we are introducing a new class at ActiveRain University. ActiveRain Orientation is a free online course designed to help our newest members set goals and develop a social media marketing plan to meet those goals.

If you're like me you have a hunger for knowledge, a desire to be the very best at what you do, and a need to share your expertise with the world. To me that's what blogging is all about. It's about teaching while learning at the same time, growing while helping others grow, and meeting your own needs while meeting the needs of others.

Whether you are new to the business or a seasoned vet, you understand that we have reached a crossroads, and the business is moving into the digital age. Just like e-mail, fax, and cell phone technology have revolutionized the way we do business in the past, blogging and social media will change the way we as professionals will market and communicate with prospective clients now and for the foreseeable future.

Change is never easy. It may come more easily to some than it does to others, and there will always be trend setters, but if you have someone who can mentor you as you grow the growing pains can be greatly diminished. I remember some of the people who have mentored me in my life, and I thank my lucky stars every day for their help and guidance.
