Gwinnett County's Newest Park Deshong Park

One of my favorite things about Gwinnett County is that we have a wonderful parks and if you read my blogs you know by now that I love parks. The park I am referring to is Deshong Park, the newwest park in Gwinnett County and it is located on South Deshong Rd, in Stone Mountain, Georgia on the Dekalb/Gwinnett County line.

Deshong park has something for all ages, there is a tot lot, a beautiful walking trail and even a teen park complete with skate board ramps and basketball courts

As I walked the park I especially enjoyed the walking trail and bridges.

Ava - thanks for sharing the photos! Gwinnett county really does have some of the best parks in the Atlanta area.

Ava - without parks a community is not quite a community. It is nice to have a place to relax and have fun.

Ava, nothing is better than being able to spend a bit of time with a book outdoors or watching activities...I prefer to grille when I get time. Just being outside is a plus. Nice photos and update on the new park.

Jennifer: Yes, it truly helps to have parks. That's something I enjoyed growing up and still enjoy now.

Gary: Sitting in the park with a good book is great. It's been really hot hear lately which sometimes limits the amount of time you can spend in the park, but I bet the weather is beautiful in Michigan right now.
