In case you have not heard, our Oregon Ducks Football Team from the University of Oregon have made the National Championships! The Ducks have never been national champions before and this is a REALLY BIG DEAL for the entire state.

Everyone is getting in on the celebration. Maybe you've seen some of our youtube songs? We even made it on Jimmy Fallon!

Because the game is scheduled for Monday, January 10th, I know that many, many people have requested Tuesday off. Even more people will probably end up calling in sick the next day. I mean, how could you expect anyone to actually work during such an important event? The Tigard-Tualatin School District board meeting and the Tualatin City Council meeting have both been rescheduled for Wednesday. That's probably a good move because I imagine most of those people would just have not shown up anyway.
