11 Comments on This Winter has been Murder on Real Estate Signs!
What a slick way to ask for help. I like it. Sorry to hear about your signs though! When you get a bunch of them out, I bet it kinda gets hard to keep track of where they all are, doesn't it.
This blog reminds me about the time last year when someone kept taking my signs on a particular listing. The people who put up the "vote for" signs for one of the local candidates for office found one of them miles away and called me. They even insisted on bringing it back to me rather than my picking it up. Needless to say I voted for that candidate who ended up winning by a VERY few votes.
And you still have a whole lot of winter still to come. Maybe you need taller posts so the signs will show above the snow. (just rubbing it in a little)
Hy Erby - I keep track of all my own signs, but Calcagni has a lot of signs in central Connecticut, so we can use as much help as people are willing to give!
Hi Hella - What a great way to win an election! I don't understand, however, why someone would keep taking your signs from that listing!!
That's a great idea and a helpful one at that......and just about anyone can do it. And, who knows....they just might ask for some information on the house when they call.
Thanks Georgina - You do love to rub it in!! You are almost as bad as my Florida relatives! I even have summer and winter mailboxes here--the winter one is protected from the snow plows by being behind a telephone pole. Not something you have to worry about in Maui.
Hi Tony - But I don't want anyone NOT calling because they are afraid I will try to sell them the house! Really, I will just say "Thank you VERY much!"
Real estate can be all about the first sign of snow! Hang in there, spring is less than 90 days away!
Emily
Chris, Winter is just hard on everything! Nice post! Spring should be just around the corner, I hope!
And just think, if you make any sales, you won't be able to get the posts out of the ground until the spring thaw.......
Hi Emily - Actually somewhere around 73 days--but who's counting?!
Hi Tony and Darcy - I keep looking around corners, but I haven't found Spring yet!
Hi Brenda - So true--but as long as they look good, that is not such a bad thing! : )
