Hi everyone---I didn't fall off the blogging train, I just hopped onto Steven Graham's Acela Express by becoming a Rainmaker!

trainI guess this is what they mean when they say you take two steps backwards before moving forward!

I had no idea that there would be so much to writing a blog post--OK, correction--a perfect blog post! Well, I will say that I have the most skillful conductor--Steven Graham. I missed the Monday class because AR didn't have their calendar up over the holiday weekend and I wasn't able to start until Tuesday. I was going into the new venture rather annoyed because I like starting at the beginning. Well I couldn't stay miffed for long because Steven was rapidly firing turbo-charged SEO info my way and I was typing notes at a frenzied pace!!

I signed up for Wednesday's class and Thursday's even though I knew that I would miss half of the Thursday class because I was teaching a home staging course for Realtors in Rhinebeck, New York and wouldn't be able to strap into my seat on time. I was still able to get a half hour or so of instruction and my one recommendation would be in addition to sending notes, it would have been helpful to have access to a recording of the class so I could have caught up on the missed first half hour. Well today is submit your draft day so I am logging off to work on my masterpiece! Happy trails, Linda Esposito, HouseSetters Home Staging, Hudson Valley, New York

Thanks for the encouragement, Jennifer!

Clearly that sounds like straight-forward advise but when you listen to Steven you learn that there is a right way to blog and a wrong way! It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish and whether Search Engine Optimization is important to you; that is, whether you want to just chat with AR folks, gain a strong following for your blog and optimize it or whether you are looking to optimize your website. I want to do all three with limited time so I need to figure out the best approach.

Clearly directing sellers and agents to my before and after staging photos is the best way for people to get to know my work.
