What's up in the News?

I read "The Wall Street Journal", ever day, so I decided that I would start summarizing, once a week, what I find interesting.

January 5, John Boehner, from Ohio (my home state), is our 61^st house speaker. In my opinion, Mr. Boehner has a tough job ahead of him. I hope his ideas, knowledge and experience along with his political connections and negotiation skills moves our country out of this recession.

The private sector added 297,000 jobs (per ADP) in December. This is a very significant improvement and should start people thinking about buying goods, services and real estate.

The nation's apartment market remains strong vacancies level falling below 7%, good news for the real estate market.

Just for Fun- What do you use as your salutation in an email? What is proper? Well the email "Salutation" is under fire, it seems "Dear" is out and "Hey" may be in. In my opinion use what feels proper to you.
