Going Around or Coming Around?

By
Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices - C. Dan Joyner 21498

So is it, “What goes around comes around,’ or “What comes around goes around?” Either way, I wonder if it’s really true when referring to bad treatment of people or some injustice visited on a person or people. I mean, you see people all the time who have done bad things most of their lives, and they live long and prosper. I like the idiom, and think it is just…but I’m not sure how often it actually happens.

Maybe more often than I realize…

I certainly believe what "go around comes around"... it is karmic law, however, I don't wish for anyone to experience misfortune regardless of what they have done.  It is more important that they reflect on what they have done and better their ways... This reflection could be painful for some! Hence, what goes around comes around!

I seriously doubt it ever happens. Maybe in the case of Tom Delay recently but how many other of our politicians have done the same things... Where are our heros anymore? It just seems everyone in the public spotlight is out for themselves. It is incumbent on us each day to do the best we can and forget about that we can not control..Thanks Sheila for bringing this up. I hope you get lots of people respoding to this

I am a firm believer that "what goes around comes around". I believe thatthe "bad doers" do pay for their actions, but usually in ways that we may not see. No matter what other others do or say, I always try to wish the best for others, even the ones who think their actions will never catch up with them.

It seems like a lot of bad people get away with their evil deeds... but I do believe there we all ultimately have to give an account for our actions, so sooner or later, bad guys are held accountable.

Shelia, it does seem what goes around comes around...but we just do not always see it.  I agree w/Jason!
