Another spectacular end to a day filled with lots of activity. The first week of 2011 has been packed with quite a few events including one closing and another one in the works. I’ve also been working really diligent at getting things organized and going full swing for the new year.
On a personal note its been a full week as well. My youngest granddaugher is presently in the hospital with walking pneumonia. Her oxygen level remains low so periodically they have to put her on oxygen. Every couple of hours she has to be given a breathing treatment. I know she is where she needs to be but it remains difficult for grandparents when they are so small.
Because of her illness I have had to squeeze in time in my routine to help take care of her older brothers. One brother had to be taken to the eye doctor today after school. We are all hoping that she will be home tomorrow and back to enjoying the new year.
As we move past the holidays and find ourselves back into the routines of our daily living it is my prayer that you and your loved ones remain healthy and happy throughout the year.
Teral:
I will say a prayer for your youngest granddaughter with pneumonia - and her parents as well! Looks like you are cranking up for a big 2011!
Teral,
Great post on our many blessings and a good hope that your granddaughter is home tomorrow. How awesome that you are able to help and enjoy your kids nearby.
Love the beautiful picture. We were admiring the sunrise driving to school this morning.
All the best, Michelle
Teral, May your little one pull through quickly. It is good that you able to help your family in between all your busy..ness. Remembering all the good we have each day helps us through to the next.
Take care, Stay healthy.
Gloria
Hi Teral... I walked out of my office at 5:30 tonight and was amazed how beautiful the sky looked! We have definitely had our share of gorgeous sunsets this week. Hopefully their beauty has been of some comfort to you as your grandaughter heals.
Thank you, Michelle, sunrises can be just as spectacular as the sunset. It is harder for me to capture the sunrise in my local setting than the sun set. Praise God, Kilee is home tonight.
Joni, thank you for your prayers; they have been answered and Kilee is home tonight.
Gloria, my granddaughter is home tonight and I am thanking God for answered prayers. I appreciate you sharing with me and yes, I am grateful to have time to spend with them.
Hi Steve, then you knoww this picture doesn't do justice to the beauty of the sky as it was taken with my cell phone. The colors were so vibrant. Thanks for sharing with me.
Hello Rob, hope it was a glorious day in Tennessee fro you and your loved ones.
That is a great picture... Great thing that you had the camera. If you would have waited a few more minutes, you might have missed it!
Sunsets do slip away quickly and yes, cell phones come in hand in moments like these. I appreciate your comments, Chris.
