Get Rid of the Clutter!!!

Getting ready to sell your home?    There are 3 main factors to selling a home,

• Price  - If you price it right, it shall sell.
• Condition - The better the condition, the better that you wil compare to your competition.
• Location - As a seller, there is nothing that you can do about location. 

Sometimes investing a few dollars into improvements will allow for you to net a higher dollar.  If you are short on cash to do improvements, you can improve your selling position by going on clutter patrol.  Do these things to get rid of the mess:

1. Sort things into categories. 
2. If you haven't worn it this past year, give it to good will.
3. Use shelves to store items.  Bed Bath and Beyond or The Container Store are great stores to find shelves that you can use.
4. Prepare before you organize.  Like any project - if you have a plan, you are more likely to succeed.
5. Do it a little at a time.  If time is on your side, use it.  If you can spend 20 minutes a day every day for 2 weeks organizing and getting rid of the clutter, you will achieve much more than if you tried to do it all in one shot.

When selling, an inexpensive way to improve the value of your home is to keep it clutter free .  Buyers want to be able to visualize your property as their home.  The less that you have there, the better.  Best of luck with your home sale!
