Boy, do I ever!

Ueckert Realty is proud to report a few amazing statistics for 2010:

25% of our clients were repeat clients. The National Association of Realtors states, "Only 11% of all buyers and 22% of all sellers used a previous agent," in a recent survey. Ueckert Realty is way above average as far as repeat customers.

70% of our clients were referrals. The national average, according to a few, is about 40%-50% of people choose a real estate practitioner based on a referral from family or friends.

Referrals are great when they come from former clients. Referrals from former clients are like testimonials to your business put into action -- they say to us, "Hey, I like how you treated me and I want my family or friend to be treated the same way. I like you and trust you and you deserve this deal!"

Referrals are also great when they come from other professionals. If my favorite banker, mortgage lender or my preferred home inspector has a client who is looking to purchase real estate and I get that call asking me to come on in and take care of their client, then I know the client's already warmed up to the idea of shopping real estate with me. All I have to do is follow through and treat them like they're my family. Not only is it an honor to be referred by anyone, but it is especially an honor when the referral comes from someone who does a ton of business with other Realtors and rather than refer this treatured client to another real estate pro, which they could call on any one of their million, they chose to refer them to Ueckert Realty first. That is a huge honor. We value those referrals big time!

What about referrals from other real estate professionals? Why would another real estate pro send me business? Well, a few reasons. Maybe the pro has a client moving from their area to mine. Maybe the pro doesn't want to service that client in my area, but they would love to be paid a fee to refer them to me. That's GREAT! I love referrals! What if the pro recently got out of the real estate business? Perhaps they are currently what we call "inactive" status, where they are licensed agents, just not active right now. I received one of those referrals just today! Thanks, Adela
