10 Comments on Blogging - a peek into your personality, not just idle chat.
Blogging is definitely a way for people to learn more about you. Good luck with this series.
How true, the consumer gets to know you - like you and of course to trust you even without a face to face meeting! I feel like I know you from reading your posts and will certainly keep you in mind should I have a relocation party to your area (which looks just beautiful!)
Photo is beautiful and I agree with you completely - what a great way to get a peek at our personalities as we share our thoughts with readers...
Tammie and Debbe- Thanks so much for the encouragement! I have only been blogging for a week and was very nervous about it, but the people here on Active Rain are so nice. I have really been having fun thinking about all the things that make Laramie home to me!
MaryBeth - My daughter did a report in the form of a brochure for Massachusetts last year. It was amazing all the stuff I learned, too. Sounds like a wonderful area.
Tammi, For sure we know now that it's COLD where you are! From sunny most days Texas here. Even reading all the different blogs and posts my favorite thing is getting to know people. That only happens when we share a little bit of ourselves.
Brenda, right on. I am writing a series of blogs entitled, "101 Reasons Why I Like Living in Victoria BC". I have just posted #8 today--93 to go.
Deborah, I know! I feel bad that I jumped in right in the middle of winter. We do have sunny days, really....we do...
Ted - Wow, you are super ambitious. I left it open ended and am hoping I have the stamina to make it to the end of the month! 101, now that's impressive! Good luck to you!
Brenda, You shouldn't feel bad that you jumped in right in the middle of winter. You are doing such a great job of making Laramie seem interesting now that I am anxious to see what you show us in the spring and summer.
Becky, What a great series of posts! I will have to borrow your idea for Huntsville! My high school sweetheart went to school in Laramie...small world! Of course that was AGES ago, lol!
Keep up the great work. These are wonderful Localism posts! I would make them public...I think it's great info for them, what the heck!
Brenda, Wow what a photo! Looks like a very beautiful place to live. I wish I lived in view of mountains like I have in the past. Mountains have a power to make the minor worries of the day just slip away if you take a moment to enjoy the view.
Your series is great. Off to a great start here at AR. Welcome!
