Cindy in Indy
Just like MJ, he was gone way too soon..so sad, but at least in both their cases, we have their music to keep them living on...
Not to many Elvis tunes you can't sing along with. Even out of the showe
Enjoy the day
Hi Michael- I really enjoy all of Elivis's music. He left us much too early in life.
Michael,
At first I thought you were going to talk about BK but I am glad that you were reminding us of the anniversary of EP.
Long live The King! :)
He was a very talented, we lost him Elvis when he was way too young. Ceil remembers when he was first on the Sullivan show on TV her folks would send her from her room because he wiggled way too much. It was OK to listen to the 45's but not watch him on TV. Later that changed when he came out in movies.
What is it with you and Rutland?
I've never spoke with Craig. Is his voice as sexy as Mr. Presley's was?
Mike,
I think I saw that King, but if I'm not mistaken, it was at a burger joint. And to think, Elvis was considered too controversial for TV back then, considering what we see today.

Hi Michael...just so you know how old I am...when Elvis came on the Ed Sullivan show my Dad turned off the TV because he was wiggling his hips,I understand the show was later edited so you could not see Elvis's hips...haaa
Thanks for the memories.
Have your best year ever in 2011 !!
When he shakes his hips to Jailhouse Rock....you can't help but get up and dance! I'm not talking about Alan May, I'm talking about Elivs :)
Michael
Long live the king.
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Michael,
He did have it his way... until the end, I guess.
The world was his.
The greatest...Was born 76 years ago, wow...It is amazing how time passes by...
I worked with one of Elvis's assistants, and he told me some stories not generally known out there...
Elvis had a good heart, but what a weird fellow!
You're killing me here! But I do have to admit that I'm honored to be mentioned in the same breath as Elvis!
I was looking last night at how many songs he recorded. The number is astounding - I gave up counting.
