Once again the North Georgia mountains are under the weather gun. Real snow with accumulations is something we do not often see. In fact this Christmas was the first time in 100 years we have seen this type of weather. We are under the gun fr Monday. Here are some tips
if we have ice we could loose power . Make sure your gastanks are full if you use propane to heat. Have your fire wood chopped and ready to go. Make sure your battaries are all good. If you have a medical condition consider staying in a hotel near your medical treatment facility.
Remember do not do dumb things. Responders may take a long time to get to you. Stay warm ,stay inside, and take a lot of pictures. Big Canoe Public Safety has posted a memo of things they can and cannot do to help you. It can be found on the community web site
