YOWZERS, Lindsey! That's awful. Come visit Texas. Mercy! You could probably wear shorts here while I bundle up in the mittens, etc. I promise to TRY to quit complaining that its cold! :-/
Gary - There is Ice in Minnesota right now.... that lasts all the way up until 30 or so degrees. It's the windchill that gets to me. :)
Joni - I knew that you'd see my post. I smiled the whole time I wrote it because I knew that you'd react! It's only temporary, but can be a huge cause for the blues around here.
LIndsey, noticed your comment on Joni's post and came to check this out. I'm complaining about New York's tempertures of 30's. I'm having a hard time with that; I could never survive your winter. It makes ours look like a heat wave.
Liz - Is it that warm in New York? That's pretty cool! January is the worst... gets better from here.
If you're driving, Texas is closest and easiest to find. Just throw the snow blower in the back of the pickup and head south on I35. When you stop and somebody asks what's that funny looking thing in the backof the truck, you'll probably be in Texas. If it's still cold, keep going.
Wherever you go, stand proud as you represent the state with the only NFL team in history to win every game played on a Tuesday night.
Lindsey; Hang in there it's almost over:) If you realy want to impress our southern brothers and sisters, tell them what it's like to show a vacant bank owned home, around sunset, on a day like Saturday. (hint-it's colder inside the house?)
Mike - I love the snow blower in the backseat idea. :) That's awesome!
Steve - What a great post idea. :) I might have to try that next. And, despite the frigid temps... I had a whompin' open house today!
