How do you get to have a featured post?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage~ Ginger Harper Real Estate Team 93383

I am stilll trying to be successful with AR and try new things a lot.

I see where some of our folks get to have a featured post.  Is that measured from the content of the post, or the number of hits or what?

I read them and think that they had written an exceptional post and enjoy them.

Any hints or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering.

I don't know that there is a formula, but it will be interesting to see the responses back.

Ginger-the post that Fred linked to gives you all the information you need.  If you read a great post hit the suggest button.  Others will do the same for you if they like your content.

I think as time goes on you get better and better at this.  Next thing you know you are either getting featured or getting phone calls

Hi Ginger, There has actually been a good deal of controversy about that just recently.  In the past 3-4 days there are a couple posts on it.  Check the featured posts for them. Tni

Ginger - The suggest button is the key. But to get that button hit on your posts is the trick. I would suggest doing posts of interest to a wide group of the AR readership. It seems thos type of posts are targeted most frequently.

Ginger, it is a bit frustrating as I have made posts that I thought were shear genius and even have had comments to the same but like you no features yet. I think it also helps alot to have a big following. I am pleased that 30 people subscribe to my blog but I'm striving for 100 by the end of the year. I know the key is quality and not quantity but I am going to make a post a day as one of my goals for 2011.

Bob,

I think that this is an admirable goal for 2011.  At least one a day.

Each day gets you closer to the Award..
