It’s All For The Best...

Have you ever wondered why that deal fell through? Why that buyer walked away from that house that you thought was perfect for them? Have you ever thought about what it was that you did or didn’t do that caused that buyer or seller to choose another agent over you? Or why you and that seller just didn’t mesh?

Have you ever thought that the business decisions that you have made were just right, only to see them fall apart? Or have you ever planned your day to go in such and such a way, and yet at every turn, it just seemed as if things were not going the way they were supposed to?

Or have you ever looked at all of the events in your life and wondered, “why me”? Why am I sick? Why are my finances falling apart, or why does it seem like all hell has broken loose in my home, on my job, with my children?

Sometimes when we are in moments like these, whether it is in our personal or business lives, it is necessary to step back and look at things from another perspective. No matter how bad things may look, or how desperate they may seem, there is always a silver lining in every dark cloud. Sometimes we just have to temporarily go through those things in order to realize the purpose of God in our lives. Sometimes we need to go through those situations in order to realize that God is in control, and that everything will be alright, that no matter what, it’s all for the best.

This Week’s Scripture: Romans 8:28 (New Living Translation)

28 And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

William, my mother has a saying, "when life knocks us to our knees, we are in the perfect position to pray".  I agree, with her and with you.  There is always a reason, it may not be immediately apparent, but there is always a reason.
All best,
Jason Frey

William, God is in control and the sooner we realize that, and turn things over to him, the sooner our lives will head in the right direction.

William, if we have been redeemed we have to realize that God is in control. Great post and featuring it on spiritualrain group.

William thank you for this important reminder.  Yes I have wondered all those things - lately more than ever.  When we learn to let go and realize there's a higher force at work here, things DO tend to fall into place and make a lot more sense.  Everything we go through happens for a reason.

Good post, William.  Great way to start the new year and new week.  My parents taught us the importance of prayer and I still believe that everything happens for a reason.  Have a great 2011.

William, One of the hardest things to do is let go and let God handle it! I for one always seem to pick it back up, as if I can help him...Ha.
