9 Comments on Stagecoach Days In Julien - California Tourist Towns
It reminds me a lot of Columbia, in the California Gold Country. It's always fun to see these kinds of towns.
Jane---I was their December 3 with my brother.I love that little town. When I visit I have too purchase several Apple Pie's..
Ah the old west must have been quiet...
Make this coming week super Jane,
Paul
Jane there are some eras that I really wish I had lived. The days of stagecoaches is one of them and would have loved to have been a teen in the 50's.
Karen: I've never been there but just recently was told from some relatives about the gold mining tours that actually go through the caves!
John: Isn't it a wonderful little town....glad you can relate
Paul: Thank you Paul for the well wish...I'm going to strive for a great week, and hope yours is too!
Charita: Thank you for stopping by! I would have liked to wear those big dresses they wore back then!
Nice Localism post, Jane. It’s been years (decades, really) since I’ve been to Julian. (I forgot that we’re so close to it!) My wife and I should take a trip there soon. Thanks for the reminder!
Looks like a fun tour to take. I had no idea there was anything like that near Temecula. Nice post!
Jane,
Great picture to capture the flavor of this town. Interesting contrast with the electric box there. :)

Jane, The little town sounds like a wonderful place to visit. I am not complaining but that is not a stagecoach but it is a surrey. Next time out that way I am going to spend some time there. Thanks for the post.
