Here an app, there an app, everywhere an app, app
(or, Ten steps to getting and using a smart phone)

  1. http://www.missionvalleycondos.infoWork real hard so that you can afford a smart phone.
  2. Do lots of research to determine which smart phone is the best. This will be subjective, but so what. Technology changes so fast that you might have to do a few hours of research each day.
  3. Make sure that you'll be able to easily (ha!) move all of your old phone data to your new phone.
  4. http://www.missionvalleycondos.infoIt's fun to go to the local store and try out all the phones, but remember to shop the Internet, too. I found that the Internet had many more discounts available than my local phone stores, and I found reviews that probably weren't going to be posted in the phone store.
  5. Buy that smart phone that meets all of your needs. If you have lots and lots of money, see if you can satisfy your wants and goals at the same time, just like trying to find the right house for a buyer!
  6. Get real excited when your smart phone arrives. Jump up and down, scream "My smart phone is here! My smart phone is here!" Make sure all the neighbors can hear you.
  7. Spend at least three days really getting to know your smart phone. It is smart, but still not smart enough to just start working for you right out of the box. You might have to put in a battery, switch SD cards from your old phone to your new phone, perhaps even read the instruction manual.
  8. http://www.missionvalleycondos.infoDownload every app that sounds exciting. Who cares what they cost? A little app here, a little app there, here an app, there an app, everywhere an app, app. Not enough money? No problem. Charge them to your credit card and pay for them next year.
  9. Now spend all your time really getting to know those apps. They might not do anything for you, but they sure are loads of fun. Who cares if you're supposed to be helping people buy and sell real estate? Just show them your smart phone and let them see how technologically savvy you are.
  10. As you spend more time using your smart phone and your apps, you'll find that your phone bill goes progressively higher and higher. Surfing here, download there. Ah, yes. Why is a phone company not the #1 company in the world?

Here is an app, there is an app.. I immediately started singing (as I am sure it was intended.)  Now that I have my Smartphone plus apps, it has become nearly impossible for me to figure out how to use the phone and text message! That's all I did a week ago!

Jim - I'm not certain how much I like having a phone that is smarter than me, able to multi-task, and takes messages while I'm otherwise busy.  AH, but then I have ALL the POWER ... especially if I don't plug it in!  Sucks to be a phone ... smart or not!

Great points ... thanks for sharing!

I wasn't sure about your comment on my "word of the year", about how you spend a buch on apps...does that mean paying to get them, or what they do costs you more money?  Obviously I don't have an Iphone :)

Hi Jim, I got a smart phone, but it is so sensative it dials people on its own, so sometimes I just ask "Did you call me or did my phone call you?"

I think smartphones have a life of their own =D They seem to make their own decisions.

Too funny.  I have not once downloaded an "app" for my SmartPhone.  I'm happy it gets email and allows me to text. I'm so easy to please.

Joni – I don’t have a list of Top 10 paid or Top 10 free, because the paid or free result in money spent in one way or another. Even time wasted playing with the apps is money!
