Brittany is a lovely community of 325 detached homes only minutes from I-95 at Route 234

Obviously, the price increase over 2009 is good news for the property owners in Brittany. It is very much in line with recent market reports in other subdivisions that tend to indicate the downward spiral is either ending or ended. A check of the statistics at our Multiple Listing Service confirm that all areas of Prince William County are producing the same results. There are variances, of course, but that is a function of the type of homes and the number and percentage each type in a particular subdivision. The very fact that Brittany is a subdivision of detached homes only has a different impact on prices when it is compared to a subdivision with detached homes, townhomes and condominiums.

With home mortgage rates at historically low levels this would be an excellent time for home buyers to return to the market while prices are still much lower than in previous years. A Brittany home in Dumfries would be a wise investment at this time.

Pentagon and Washington, DC bus stop at the Brittany Commuter lot. The link shows the scheduled time to the Pentagon is 40 minutes and 50 minutes to 14th and Independence in Washington, DC

It is 4.7 miles to MCB Quantico

Dale City Rec Center is approximately 15 minutes away on Minnieville Road with year round pool, fitness center and other recreational activities including an outdoor baseball batting cage.
Water Works Waterpark is approximately 20 minutes on Dale Boulevard in Dale City
Prince William Indoor Ice Rink is also located on Dale Boulevard about 20 minutes away
Prince William Forest Park with 37 mikes of hiking trails, 21 miles of bicycle accessible roads, cabin and tent camping is less than 20 minutes
Leesylvania State Park with boat launch to the Potomac, picnic facilities and educational programs is approximately 20 minutes
Lake Ridge Park and Marina with boat launch to the Occoquan Reservoir, 9-hole golf course, miniature golf and picnic facilities is approximately 15 minutes
