Fridge Art - In the summer of 2010, ComEd launched its Fine Art Fridges (pic above) display along Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The display, which ran August 1st through September 15th, featured nine recycled refrigerators transformed into the works of art by Chicago-area artists and depicted themes ranging from Chicago architecture to a celebration of flowers. In October and November, portions of the display appeared at three Chicago-area locations, where attendees were invited to vote for their favorite work of art. The results of this vote will be announced in January 2011.
