News flash, News Flash, There's a maniac driving the wrong way down the Schuylkill Expressway!
A man is driving down the Schuylkill Expressway
(pronounced "Sure-kill", but that's its own joke)A man is driving down the Schuylkill Expressway, and traffic is worse than ever. People honking, flashing their lights at him, the works.
He turns on KYW news radio for a traffic report. The radio blares, "NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! There's a maniac driving the wrong way down the Schuylkill Expressway!"
The man looks around and exclaims, "My God, there's a lot of them!"
I was looking for a certain "southern bell" joke and happened upon this joke.
It reminded meof something I just read in Bob Stewerts post, Why Your Blog Will Fail in 2011 In his paragraph "You don't understand how to write efficient posts that rank well in the search engines."(one of the reasons your blog posts will fail in 2011) He said; "Many of our (earlier) members had to learn this the hard way, through trial and error. If you've been around here for any significant amount of time, you know this."
But us newbies don't have to drive in the wrong direction! These days we all can attend Active Rain University Trainings!
If you don't want to be like that guy driving in the wrong direction,
or a fish swimming up stream working hard but getting nowhere,
Check out; ActiveRain University Training Calendar.

Laura, not so funny, this does happen too often, but your point well taken and I'd like to be in the front of the pack.
Apparently we are the only ones. I've never got these few comments. Do we er on the side of poor taste? Or was this just a boring post?
Some people are just incapable of seeing the truth...that they are going the wrong direction in life. Great title!
Laura, thanks for the good laugh and for the links. I certainly do not want to learn from my own mistakes.
Good point Sharon! I do believe there were a few moments in my life that I was going in the wrong direction. Fortunately, I figured that out relatively quickly! I hope you have a beautiful path before you.
Anna, I hope you love the webinars! I am signed up for Wednesday. I just love learning new helpful information. Glad you liked the joke. It was meant in harmless good fun.
Laura, another well-timed post....signing up for Monday's intro. class. Feeling like I am going in the wrong direction today as I had to let my web designer go....6 months, four iterations and still very unsatisfied with my website. Time to start over....aaarrggghhh! On a positive note, received my first referral today and will meet a family selling a home this weekend.
Glad to be of help Christine! I somehow missed my Wednesday Webinar. I'm going to try again next week. I feel the same way about my website. I can't wait until I have full control of that.
That is awesome that you got a referral! I wish you the very best with this meeting! Let me know how it goes.
Well David,...hey, where did your little green hat go? Hummmmm,,,,anyhow I did sign up for last Wednesdays class, but I couldn't get my time right. They said it started at 1:00 p.m. PT, so at 11:00 a.m. (central time) I tried,..."webinar is not in session yet" So,...12:00 p.m. (central time) I tried again,..same thing.... then I got busy organizing photo's for one of my staging projects and oops!, 2:30 p.m. central time,..."webinar is over"! I will try again tomorrow!
Laura , having grown up in the Philly(2 L's ActiveBob) suburbs you title pulled me right in ! You even knew about KYW 1060AM !!! WOW
Michael, I am so glad you liked this one! I am a rediculas wealth of knowledge. By the way, It was actually really cool learning about that name. I took a trip a few years back from WI in a huge oval to Maine, to Niagra Falls and back. We learned a lot and had a blast learning about each state as we drove through. We took a tour of Williamsport PA, Little league capital of the world!
