Murrieta Short Sale Homes Sell Fast...
Approx. 1/3 of all listing in the Murrieta area are now short sales. It use to be that buyers stayed away from short sale listings. But today most of these listing will now generate an offer within the first 30 days. The offer is the key that allows a Short Sale Specialist to start the short sale approval process with the sellers lender or lender's. With the offer in hand and the required sellers documents the real work starts. While there is no standards,each bank/lender is different and even short sales within the same banks will be treated differently. This makes it very hard to communicate time frames to all parties. I have to give a best guess to my clients who need and want to know how long it will take. Most of my short sales take 90 to 100 days to complete. While my short sale listing sell fast, it's still a long process but in the end it's a win win. The buyer gets a bargain and the seller's sheds a large mortgage without foreclosure.
