The product that becomes too close dated or day old is sold as animal food and cannot be consumed by humans. This is where we go to get our winter feed for the birds and squirrels. I can fill up a plastic handle bag for $1.00 or fill a grocery cart for $5.00. The cold temperatures in my garage can keep this bread fresh for a week or two if needed. I also fill a cart for my son to feed the goats, chickens and ducks on his farm. This is a lot cheaper for him than going to the feed store.
