In the Sunday edition (January 9, 2011) of our local newspaper, The Gazette, there was an article written by Linda Navarro in The Gazette’s Movers & Shakers column about Peak Producers.

Peak Producers is an organization of Colorado Springs Realtors that was formed by Bill McAfee, president of Empire Title, which is comprised of Realtor members of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors who are part of the top 10 percent in volume of listings and sales units.

The theme of the group is to share networking skills, knowledge and experience, and to uniquely market listings, as well as helping to support local charities, such as Keep Colorado Springs Beautiful.

Within the article, an interview with Cherise Selley was conducted, “’Peak Producers is not about self-promotion.  It’s consumer-centric,’ according to 2011 group head (part of leadership) Cherise Selley, who conveyed this message to 200 partygoers.”

The evening spurred donations to the Marian House Soup Kitchen, as participants brought monetary donations, food and diapers to the party.

2011 promises to be another year of continued vision, leadership growth, as well as deeper connections with community charities.
